The Updating course refreshes practical fast rescue boat skills, including launching and recovery, high-speed manoeuvring, rescue techniques, and emergency decision-making.
If you do not meet the required standard, you may take a resit. Instructors will explain what needs improvement before reassessment.
After successful completion, your FRB certification is revalidated for five years, in line with STCW and MCA requirements.
