Provide proof of 6 months of sea service within the last 5 years, or
Retake the Elementary First Aid course.

If you do not meet the required standard in a specific course or module, you may take a resit for that element. Instructors will clearly explain what needs improvement before reassessment.

Does the Officer Package replace an MCA Certificate of Competency?
No. The Officer Package provides the required training elements, but it does not itself constitute an MCA Certificate of Competency. Additional sea service, exams, and application processes are required through the MCA.
